Every item we create can be made more personal with an actual handwritten note or custom image. *Please note that if issues with your image arise, the turnaround time may increase. To ensure the best quality engraving please check out the guidelines for submitting your images below:
Actual Handwritten Messages
• An ink pen will give a thinner line while markers will give a thicker, bolder result.
• Your image should have minimal shadows and should be in focus. Taking a focused up-close photo in a well-lit location will produce the best image.
• We may need to move words around so they will fit best on your piece, but we will not alter the message itself.
• If possible, we prefer the handwriting to be provided on unlined white paper. However, we also know that sometimes sentimental notes cannot be recreated and we will do our best to work with what you have. Our designers will contact you within two business days if there is an issue.
All other Custom Images (Logos, pet portraits, etc.)
• Clear photos and artwork will produce better engravings. Pixelated, blurry, and/or dark images are not ideal but can sometimes be worked with if there is no alternative. Our designers will contact you within two business days if there is an issue with your image submission.
• One of our cutest products is our <pet portrait necklace>, we love capturing the likeness of your best friend’s face or paw print to be cherished forever. The best likeness is achieved when the pet’s photo shows both eyes (typically a straight on or ¾ photo) in good lighting.
• At this time, we only engrave animals, we are not able to engrave images of people.

Laser engraving is a process that actually removes material (etches or engraves). The dark engraving is from the lasering process, which changes the chemical composition of the material. This results in permanent marking that you can feel in the material, unlike paint, which just adheres to the surface.
The coloring of laser-engraved materials depends on the material itself and the lighting. At some angles, the engraved areas will look brown/black/dark brown, while at other angles, it’ll look jet black.
This unique process yields a light surface engraving. The color can vary depending on the material/item being engraved, but is generally frosted white. This is a more subtle look on our silver, rose gold and yellow gold finishes.

Orders weighing 16 ounces or less will ship via USPS First Class for US customers unless expedited shipping is purchased.

We do NOT guarantee shipping. The transit times are estimated by USPS. During all communications, we are just relaying these estimates. Once your package is handed over to USPS, we have no control over it any longer. The tracking information you see is the same that we see. *First-Class shipping does not include insurance. If you’d like your package insured, please upgrade to Priority or Priority Express shipping.
Shipping times will increase during the holiday seasons, so please be sure to place orders earlier rather than later or upgrade your shipping.
We have NO control over your country's customs officials. Some countries will charge duty for international packages and others do will not, and all at different rates! These are NOT extra shipping charges. You are responsible to know your country’s import policies before purchasing and to pay any customs/duty fees.
USPS international shipments only update where they are in the USA, once they ship overseas, the tracking number is no longer updated until it’s been delivered. The tracking may show your package being ‘frozen’ at a major US port, but this does not mean your package isn’t moving, it’s just that it’s outside of US territory.

We want to take care of any issues as soon as possible as we know some items are time sensitive. In most cases, we will ship the item with the same shipping option at the time of purchase.

Sizing Details and Suggestions
These are just suggestions. Use the tag dimensions in each listing to determine the perfect size for your furry friend.
Toy & Small Breeds, 1-10 pounds (Small or Medium)
Medium Breeds, 10-50 pounds (Medium or Large)
Large Breeds, 50-100 pounds (Medium or Large)
Extra Large Breeds, 100-150 pounds (Large or X-Large)
Your quiet pet tag size depends on your pet's existing collar. We have four sizes to choose from, ranging from 3/8" wide collars for toy breeds to 1" wide collars for larger breeds.
TAGS WILL NOT FALL OFF - This tag stays in place on your dog or cat's nylon webbing collar without any chance of falling off. If you have a standard nylon webbing collar that is approximately 1/8" thick, this is the tag for you. Please note it is not designed to be used on leather, thin nylon, or fabric collars.
FITS ADJUSTABLE COLLARS - Fits where slide on tags won't. Specially made for adjustable collars with all the benefits of a slide-on collar tag. Curved to fit your pet's neck properly.
COLOR, METAL HARDNESS, & COLOR CHANGE CONSIDERATIONS
Below are COLOR & METAL HARDNESS properties to consider when choosing your pet tag. The softer the metal, the more prone it is to dings and dents.
Rated from hardest to softest: Stainless steel > Aluminum (light) > Brass > Copper
Below are the COLOR CHANGE properties to consider when choosing your pet tag.
Copper and brass will both tarnish/patina over time. These metals will develop tarnish and color changes from browns to blues and greens. Please see care instructions for details on how to clean tarnished tags.
Stainless steel, 18k gold plated stainless steel and aluminum tags will not tarnish over time.
Anodized aluminum and 18k plated stainless steel color will wear away with constant friction against another metal object.
All metal tag ENGRAVINGS will wear away with constant friction over time. To extend the life of your engraving, wipe the tag down with rubbing alcohol using a lint free rag and apply a coat of clear nail lacquer across the surface you’d like to protect. Reapply as needed. To remove, use a nail polish remover. Do NOT use a 100% acetone based nail polish remover as it will eat away at the black engraving.

Avoid contact with perfumes, body oils, and other chemicals, including household cleaners.
Never use chemical jewelry cleaners as these will wear away at the plating and do more harm than good.
Remove jewelry when sleeping, exercising, or doing other physical strenuous activities

For light cleaning, rinse with clean water and gently polish with a soft, lint-free cloth in order to avoid scratching.
Store in a cool dry place, or in a ziplock bag.
Use a flexible measuring tape to measure around your wrist OR if you don’t have one, you can use a piece of string to wrap around your wrist and then measure the length with a ruler.
Small bracelet diameter 2.3” - if your wrist circumference is 6.3” or less
Medium bracelet diameter 2.7” - if your wrist circumference is 6.4” - 7.4”
Use a flexible measuring tape to measure around your wrist.
OR
If you don’t have one, you can use a piece of string to wrap around your wrist and then measure the length with a ruler.
Measure your wrist circumference then add 0.5” to find the size that should fit not too tight but not too loose.
Small - 5.5” - 6.5”
Medium - 6.5” - 7.5”
Large - 7.5” - 8.5”
Wrap a string around your neck to the desired length.
Measure the piece of string with a ruler or measuring tape.
