We source extra thick plating, almost 30 times thicker than standard plating, which is comparable to gold-filled items. The difference between gold-filled items and ours ... underneath the gold layer, gold-filled items usually have brass while our items are sterling silver. So regardless of which finish of ours you choose, your necklace will always be made from a precious metal (sterling silver).
